Rafters in the Community

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will play a very active role in the community in being involved with numerous local non-profit organizations and other smaller groups.The team strives to have great community relationships with not only the immediate Wisconsin Rapids Community but also with surrounding Towns and Villages. Each year the Rafters will have a presence at various special events and parades, youth events, including sponsorship of tee ball teams, and different community gatherings.The team will also highlight different local communities during their “Community Night” series.Local communities are allowed to promote their festivals and summer events while the residents of that respective community can come out and receive discounted tickets on the date of their night.

Also, this season the Rafters have started Lil’ Rafters Reading Program to help encourage the youth and future leaders of tomorrow to increase the amount of time in which they read.  Every kid is rewarded a Rafters prize for the successful completion of the program.
