Game Day Staff: Each job has its own start and end time, but typically our game day staff will be working roughly two hours before the game starts until the game ends. Every summer the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will hire 5-6 interns to help fill vital roles within the team's front office. We will begin holding interviews after November 20th. In your letter please detail which TWO internships you'd like to apply for & rank them #1 & #2.

The internships are full-time positions and require a full commitment of your summer. Interns will not only work every home game, but will also help to handle all day to day responsibilities in the office on off-days as well. 80 – 90 hours per week during a home stand is common.

Below are details about the internships being offered in 2010:
Operations Internship
-    Help with the setup and cleanup of all events held at the stadium
-    Supervise game day staff and help with scheduling and payroll
-    Coordinate the travel and meal itineraries for the Rafters when on the road, and for visiting teams when they are in Wisconsin Rapids.
-    Responsible for the general appearance and cleanliness of the ballpark
-    Assist with field maintanence

Ticketing Internship
-    Work directly with online ticket system to ensure that all season ticket, package plan holders and large company outings have a good time when at the ballpark
-    Help manage and schedule a staff of game day employees – help with the incoming calls, walkup ticket orders
-    Make sure proper wristbands are available for groups and members of the Founders Club
-    Assist with other special groups in the park (Birthday Parties, Founders Club members, 9-Game Pack holders, etc…)
-    Learn and operate the backend of the ticket system

Video Production/PR Internship
-    Responsible for training camera operators and coordinating video production
-    Constantly updating the content on our website
-    Producing highlight packages after games for the website, YouTube, & liveraftersbaseball.com
-    Being familiar with XLR video cameras and TriCaster software
-    Writing content for the website (series previews/game recaps)
-    Helping schedule interviews with the Media
-    Help produce 2010 Game Program

Marketing Internship
-    Help implement sponsorship contracts
-    Coordinate all on-field promotions and pre-game activities (National Anthem, first pitches etc…)
-    Organize and attend mascot/player appearances in the community
-     Develop positive relationships with fans, clients and community members to help promote the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

*Game Day ONLY internships available as well, must arrive at ballpark at 2pm every home game.
